Pattaya city has hired consultants to study the feasibility, design, and environmental impact of developing a light rail transit system in Pattaya. The study aims to provide information for decision-making on funding or investment with private sector participation. One of the study’s scopes is to select the most suitable system and route, both in terms of engineering, economics, and the environment, which has the highest priority to be implemented as a pilot project. The selected project is a single-track light rail system, the Green Line, from Pattaya Railway Station to Bali Hai Pier, which is in the first phase of the master plan for the development of Pattaya’s public transportation system. The second phase includes the Purple Line and other public transportation systems that are appropriate. To ensure that the study is designed according to its objectives, Pattaya invites interested parties to participate in the first public hearing of the study on Tuesday, November 21, 2566, from 08.30 to 12.00 at the Grand Caribbean Room, 8th Floor, Brighton Grand Pattaya Hotel.
