On May 22, 2022, 09:10 pm, report the results of the Bangkok Governor Election. An unofficial tally of 73.82% of the votes cast at 5,032 of the 6,817 polling stations showed Mr Chatchart was ahead by more than a million. It is expected that if 100% of the votes are counted, Chatchat’s score will smash the record of the Governor of Bangkok. According to the current record, the highest voter was MR Sukhumphan Paripat, who was elected with 1,256,349 votes.
The results of the top five places in this election are as follows:
1st place, No. 8, Mr Chatchart Sitthiphan, independent candidates, 1,000,387 votes
2nd place, No. 4, Mr Suchachwee Suwansawat, Democrat, 185,143 votes
3rd place, No. 1, Mr Wirot Lakkhana-Adisorn, Kao Klai Party, 184,073 votes
4th place, No. 3, Mr Sakolthee Phattiyakul, independent candidates, 169,524 votes
5th place, No. 6, Pol. Gen. Asawin Kwanmuang, independent candidates, 156,396 votes
At 10 p.m., the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration reported an unofficial election result, indicating that Chatchat received 1,282,191 votes, breaking the record of Mr Sukhumphan.
Party Thai Sang Thai won the MPs as much as the Pracharath
Bangkok governor election results informally representatives of Ms Sudarat’s party received the same MP as the Prachacharath.
At 9:50 pm, the election results in all 50 districts have been unofficially counted by the Bangkok Council (Sor Kor.), representatives from the new party Thai Sang Thai which was founded by Ms Sudarat Keyuraphan have elected 2 seats, equal to the representatives of the Party Palang Pracharat (PPC), which is the party that won the most.

In 4th place, there are 2 parties, namely Palang Pracharat Party, 2 seats, Thai Sang Thai Party, 2 seats, and Independent (Rak Bangkok Group) 2 seats, including 2 independent candidates.
A new era dawns for Bangkok as Chadchart triumphs
At about 8.40 pm, Chadchart went on stage in his election war room to thank voters and acknowledge his unofficial victory.
Chadchart also thanked Suchatvee, who called the projected governor-elect to express his congratulations.
He said most Bangkok governor candidates offered good policies in their campaigns and that he would do his best to adopt these ideas when he runs the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration over the next four years.
Chadchart also said he will work with Bangkok councillors regardless of their political side.
Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, leader of the Progressive Movement, also congratulated Chadchart Sunday night.
“I would like to congratulate Khun Chadchart. If you think our Progressive Movement can be useful in any way, you can call on us to support you. We are willing to support Khun Chadchart in Bangkok politics,” Thanathorn said.
