The Northern Bangkok Monorail (NBM) has announced the commencement of test runs for the Pink Line monorail project, with plans to conduct a trial run for commuters once safety checks are successfully completed.

Surapong Laoha-Unya, Board Director of NBM, stated that the ongoing test runs for the Pink Line project are crucial to ensure compliance with rigorous safety and engineering standards. He expressed satisfaction with the smooth progress of the testing phase and mentioned that NBM will conduct system tests before proceeding to check the railway system, which is anticipated to begin in approximately one month.

Upon the completion of safety checks, NBM intends to initiate a trial run for commuters, providing the service free of charge. The Pink Line, spanning from Nonthaburi’s Khae Rai area to Bangkok’s Minburi district, is scheduled to open for full commercial operations in June of next year.
