The “Awakening Bangkok” light and digital art event has returned to the Talad Noi district near the Chao Phraya River.
The goal of this year’s event, which began on December 1 and will end on Christmas Day, December 25, is to stimulate the local economy in the wake of the recent epidemic.
Charoen Krung Road-TTalad Noi in Bangkok will host the annual illumination event once again in 2022 thanks to Awakening Bangkok 2022.
At a press conference, Time Out Bangkok Director Pongsiri Hetrakul and representatives from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand revealed the event to the public (TAT).
This year’s festival has the theme “Endless Tomorrow: For Tomorrow and Forever” and aims to bring the historic riverbank neighborhood back to life.
Taking place at the same time as the Colorful Bangkok 2022 event, Awakening Bangkok 2022 celebrates the rebirth and reopening of the city.
A primary goal of these celebrations is to attract more tourists to Thailand and spread joy throughout the holiday season.
