Children aged 5-11 and the elderly over 60 can receive COVID-19 vaccines at designated spots in Bangkok
Children aged 5-11, who are educated outside the school system or students who have not yet been vaccinated at any injection site, and without no underlying diseases may receive the first dose of Pfizer at Bangkok Youth Center (Thai-Japanese) from 8 AM – 4 PM during March 26 – April 10, 2022.
The elderly who have not yet been vaccinated or are due to receive a third or a fourth booster shot are encouraged to visit one of the 11 hospitals affiliated with BMA and health centers near your home to complete the vaccination from 8 AM – 4 PM today onwards until further notice.
It is advised before vaccination, a queue be booked through the QueQ app to save time; though a walk-in is still accepted. What to prepare for the day is an ID card or a birth certificate (original or copy)/other cards used to verify the identity such as a passport and a personal pen. For any questions, contact Bangkok Health Office by calling 0-2203-2883.
Annually during the Songkran festival, the people of Bangkok usually visit their hometowns, travel to the country, and organize gatherings and parties. This concern worries the nation as possible clusters may take place; however, with a minimum of 2 COVID-19 shots of any brand and/or an optional booster shot of the third or the fourth may help lessen the impacts. Still, guard up by wearing a mask at all times, especially when outside home, washing hands frequently, especially before meals and after bathroom use, and keeping social distancing when in public areas.
