M-Flow Expressway Automatic Payment is being criticized for lack of visibility. Many people have been fined ten times.

On February 20th reporters reported that the M-Flow Expressway automatic payment system under the model “run first, pay later” was made for reducing traffic jams in front of the toll booth. The Department of Highways opened four checkpoints, namely Thanyaburi 1, Thanyaburi 2, Thap Chang 1 and Thap Chang 2 since February 15th.

Suddenly, there was a trend of criticism for ordering people to fine 10 times: fines went from the normal price of 30 baht to the price of 330 baht. According to a number of comments, Public relations says the opening of the M-Flow model in the public was not thought-through. This caused some commuters to not know the correct payment method, leading to a fine of a late payment of hundreds of baht.

Some of the comments stated that they arrived at the toll gate and there was no cashier at that time to take their money, causing an inevitable entrance to the M-Flow.

Unadjusted pass conditions

To pass M-Flow, the automatic expressway requires a membership first. If you haven’t applied for membership and have passed during this period, the Department of Highways (TLS) has allowed you to run first and pay later within 2 days via the website https://mflowthai.com/mflow/unuserpayment .

If more than 2 days have not paid, cars passing through the M-Flow checkpoint will be subject to a fine of 10 times, or a minimum of 330 baht per pass.

Those who wish to apply for M-Flow membership can apply via the website: www.mflowthai.com. or via Line add @mflowthai as well as the MFlowThai application
