The government has reminded eligible people who are interested in participating in its popular ‘50-50’ co-pay campaign, following the Cabinet’s recent approval of the 4th phase of the program.
The initiative offers participants to pay half of their purchases of commodities except for some items such as alcoholic beverages, and cigarettes for registered residents who are not taking part in other similar schemes of the government. The subsidy is limited to 150 baht per day for a total of 1,200 baht.
The registration for the 4th phase can be done by hitting the confirmation button on the Pao Tang e-wallet app for participants from the previous phases from February 1st onwards. Applicants will be able to use the privileges right away.
It is noted that the application may need to be updated first, before the confirmation button appears.
This round of the program will last until the end of April. However, officials warned that participants must make at least one purchase before 22.59 hours of February 28th, or the privilege will be revoked.
Those who have their privilege revoked can still take part in the next round, but they will need to register again for the future program.
People who had not participated in the initiative before can register for it at the website www.คนละครึ่ง.com.
The newly registered individuals can expect to start using the privilege from February 17th onwards. Leftover funds from the previous program will not be added to the new phase.
