Thai authorities intercepted a six-wheeled truck in Kanchanaburi and were shocked to find 108 undocumented Myanmar migrants crammed inside—70 men and 38 women.
The vehicle, driven by a Karen man named Oat, was stopped before entering motorway M81. Inside, officers discovered overcrowded, dangerous conditions, with migrants standing and sitting in tightly packed rows.

Oat admitted he was paid 7,000 baht for the trip and had done similar runs twice before.
The migrants revealed a complex smuggling route: illegal night border crossing, boat transport through the Vajiralongkorn Dam reservoir, then pickup trucks to the six-wheeler. Their final destinations were factories in Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, and even Malaysia. Each paid smugglers 20,000–30,000 baht.

All 108 migrants were detained and transferred for legal processing. Authorities are now tracking the network behind the operation.
