Police in Nakhon Ratchasima have arrested a German national accused of assaulting multiple dentists over the past three months. Matthias Ebner, 41, was taken into custody on Tuesday evening in a shopping mall parking lot under a court-issued warrant.

Authorities stated that Ebner fled his residence after learning of the arrest warrant. He was found sitting in the back of his green Ford Ranger pickup when officers apprehended him. Following his arrest, he was taken to Jor Hor police station, where he confirmed his identity but declined to provide a statement, reserving it for court proceedings.

Ebner faces multiple charges, including trespassing, assault, and property damage. Police have requested a 12-day extension of his detention and plan to oppose any bail request. Officials also intend to seek the cancellation of his visa, citing him as a public safety risk.

The case began when a female dentist filed a complaint on November 30, alleging Ebner had broken through a clinic door before attacking her. Several other dentists have since come forward with similar allegations. Investigators are now compiling evidence and interviewing complainants to build the case against him.

Police noted that Ebner has been legally residing in Thailand with annual visa extensions. His Thai wife has stated that he suffers from a mental illness but does not take prescribed medication.
