For the Ramkhamhaeng toll project, it is an elevated road with four lanes of traffic in two directions. It was built for about 22 years. In addition, the Orange Line project, which was built in the area of Ramkhamhaeng Road pause problem. Indeed, the roof of the Orange Line station (Ramkhamhaeng 12 station) has to be under the structure of the Ramkhamhaeng elevated toll gate on the entrance side. The distance should be about 3,500 meters.

The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has submitted an application to the Bangkok Metropolitan Government for permission to proceed with the demolition of some elevated roads and the construction of the above-mentioned train station. When the above construction is completed, MRTA will proceed with the construction of the elevated highway during the relocation phase.

In the past, there have been numerous complaints regarding the construction of the toll highway. The construction was delayed for more than 4 years, which caused a major traffic jam in the Ramkhamhaeng area almost every day.

At present, construction of the Ramkhamhaeng Elevated Highway has resumed. It is almost 100% complete. Deputy Governor Wisanu confirmed that “the Ramkhamhaeng elevated highway will be ready to open traffic on June 15 from 5am.” This is to speed up the resolution and alleviate traffic problems for the public.

In addition, Governor Chatchat asked the contractor to install a billboard to inform the public about the opening time of the elevated road, install proper lighting and ensure the orderliness of the sidewalks around the area.
