The QSNCC is ready to reopen for APEC 2022

N.C.C. Management & Development Co. announce that Apec Summit 2022 is to be held at the revived Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC). The QSNCC has been closed for renovation since 2018 and it is scheduled to reopen on September 10 to host the Apec Summit.

The decision was made during Wednesday’s meeting of a national panel in charge of making preparations for the summit of Apec members: N.C.C. Management & Development Co. announces that the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). They have selected the venue for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2022, the QSNCC. All meetings related to APEC Framework are also to be held in the QSNCC throughout the year.

After four years of renovations, the building is re-opening its doors for Apec Summit 2022. Its space has been increased five times to 280,000 square metres. It will have two large exhibition halls with more than 45,000 square metres of space, two large convention and seminar halls with over 10,000 square metres of space. Additionally it will have 50 small meeting rooms and its parking space can accommodate almost 3,000 vehicles. The convention centre has made it convenient for visitors coming to the centre by having a passage linked to the subway.

The QSNCC is not the only venue that has been selected for Apec Summit-related events. The governmental panel also selected the Royal Thai Navy’s auditorium as the venue for hosting the gala dinner for Apec leaders and their spouses.
