People who come to use the services of the BMA public parks in the Month of Love can enjoy colorful flowers in beautiful gardens and can take memorable photos at the provided check-in points.
Queen Sirikit Park in Chatuchak District offers more than 47,000 Hollyhock plants. Its flowers will be in full bloom throughout the whole of February. It is open to the public every day from 5 am to 7 pm.
Saranrom Park in Phra Nakhon District is another spot for a check-in. Heart-shaped arches have been set up and decorated with trees and flowers made of recycled materials.
Additionally, Santiphap Park in Ratchathewi District has prepared heart-shaped arches using Fukien Tea trees and decked with flowers. Phra Nakhon Park in Lat Krabang District is adorned with dwarf plants and various types of yellow flowers. These are the places where public park service users can take memorable photos. It is open to the public every day from 5 am to 8 pm. throughout the entire February.
Moreover, Suan Luang Rama IX Park in Prawet District will organize “RUN LA LOVE: Run for Tree, the Green Valentine” activity. Public park service users are invited to exercise by walking or running and after having a 10-kilometer walk or run, people can get a free tree which can be chosen from various species. Free health screening is also provided in this activity that will be organized during February 14 – 15, 2022, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm., in front of Health of Suan Luang Rama IX Park.
The BMA Environment Department also organizes an activity to invite the general public or birdwatchers to take photos of “White-crested Laughingthrush” in Queen Sirikit Park, Chatuchak District, and join a photo contest to win “Green Cone”. Those who are interested in this activity can send photos to the Facebook Page Inbox of the BMA Environment Department during February 12 – 16, 2022. The winner will be announced on the Facebook Page of the BMA Environment Department on February 21, 2022.
